SUMMARY:BURTON CUMMINGS & his Band with COLIN JAMES
DESCRIPTION:Burton Cummings \nFew artists have achieved the level of public success and critical acclaim that Burton Cummings enjoys in a career spanning more than sixty years. \nBurton’s voice has been rated among the finest in rock music. As lead singer and songwriter with the original The Guess Who\, Burton recorded and wrote/co-wrote hits such as “These Eyes\,” “Laughing\,” “No Time\,” “American Woman\,” “Share the Land\,” “Hand Me Down World\,” “Albert Flasher”\, “Star Baby”\, “Clap for The Wolfman\,” and “No Sugar Tonight/New Mother Nature”. As a solo artist\, he leaves his mark with the poignant “Stand Tall\,” “I’m Scared\,” “You Saved My Soul\,” and his signature “My Own Way to Rock”. \nWith the original The Guess Who\, he earned recognition for the first U.S. platinum album by a Canadian artist and\, as a solo artist\, the first quadruple platinum Canadian-produced album. Burton is honored to have received\, in total\, 80 platinum and gold record awards. Recently\, the best-selling book The 100 Top Canadian Singles ranked “American Woman” the greatest Canadian single of all time. \nAs the voice of the classic Guess Who’s hits before the band broke up in 1975\, to then go on and make his mark as a solo artist\, Burton Cummings remains at the top of his game as an unrivaled singer\, songwriter\, showman\, and recording artist. Described as Canadian rock ‘n’ roll royalty\, a national treasure\, and a living legend\, for Burton Cummings there has always been one constant: he remains true to himself and his own way to rock…and continuing to perform the songs the way they were originally conceived by the artist who sang and wrote/co-wrote them. \nhttps://www.burtoncummings.com/ \n  \nColin James \n“I’m opening doors for you –walk through them.” \n-Stevie Ray Vaughan. \nFrom the prairies of Saskatchewan to sharing the stage with arguably the greatest and most influential guitarists of all time\, Colin James still remembers those words of advice given to him by the late\, great\, Stevie Ray Vaughan. \nColin James has taken those words to heart. His career has spanned over 30 years\, with a track record that includes 20 studio albums\, 8 Juno Awards\, 30 Maple Blues Awards and multi-platinum record sales. His latest 2021 release\, Open Road\, for which he won a 2022 Juno Award for best Blues Album and is nominated for Blues Foundation 2023 best Blues Rock Album\, is a celebration of personal connections. It includes original tunes written with long time collaborators such as Colin Linden\, Craig Northey and Tom Wilson and reinterpretations of covers by a diverse group of songwriters including Bob Dylan\, Albert King\, Tony Joe White and others. \nHis 2018 album Miles To Go garnered worldwide attention\, debuting on the Billboard Blues Charts and holding a position on the RMR Blues Chart for 24 weeks\, 14 weeks in the top 10. He continues to sell out shows across Canada with over 100\,000 tickets sold on tours over the past 3 years. Colin was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame in 2013. \nLooking back over Colin’s career\, it’s a timeline rich in highlights. His 1988 self-titled debut\, featuring his two self-penned hits “Voodoo Thing” and “Five Long Years\,” was the fastest-selling album in Canadian history. It won him his first Juno and an opening spot on tour with Keith Richards. His second album\, Sudden Stop\, featured his hit “Just Came Back\,” which reached #3 on the U.S. radio charts and earned him the Juno Award for “Single of the Year.” Colin was next credited with launching the swing revival\, thanks to his wildly popular Little Big Band\, which has released four successful albums to date. \nHowever\, it wasn’t until 2016’s Blue Highways that James found himself on a blues chart: the album spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Roots Music Report’s Blues Chart. It also landed him one of his biggest hits: “Riding in the Moonlight\,” a Willie Dixon song that garnered millions of streams on Spotify. \nOver the years Colin has worked with some of the world’s most revered artists including\, Bonnie Raitt\, Albert Collins\, Pops Staples\, Robert Cray\, Albert King\, Keith Richards\, Lenny Kravitz\, ZZ Top\, Mavis Staples\, Luther Allison\, Roomful of Blues\, Bobby King and Terry Evans\, John Hammond Jr.\, The Chieftains\, Carlos Santana\, Little Feat\, Johnny Hallyday\, Jeff Healey\, and Buddy Guy. In addition to his own recording and touring Colin is a prolific songwriter\, his music has been recorded by the likes of Maria Muldaur\, Johnny Hallyday and Lucinda Williams. \nColin has set the bar for consistency and talent in Canadian music and even after 20 acclaimed albums remains at the top of his game\, always challenging himself musically. A consummate professional and a superb guitarist\, Colin is a musician’s musician. The confidence that comes with maturity can be heard in his voice and seen in his electrifying stage performance. He does what comes naturally – he always has – he knows no other way and no other life. \nhttps://colinjames.com/

SUMMARY:Amanda Marshall with very special guest Serena Ryder
DESCRIPTION:Amanda Marshall \n“It takes years to learn how to play like yourself”. I don’t know who said that. I think it was Miles Davis\, but I could be wrong. It’s true\, though. It takes years to fully develop any kind of creative voice. Painters\, writers\, musicians — all kinds of “creators” take the same journey. Basically\, whether you’re making stuff or just making stuff up\, it takes awhile to find a groove and figure out what “your thing” is. \nI was six years old the first time I walked into a recording studio. A classmate’s mother sang commercial jingles\, and she took a bunch of us kids along to watch. I instantly felt at home. \nCut to 1995. My self-titled debut album was released (Epic/Sony). It went on to become one of only eighteen albums in Canadian history to achieve Diamond status\, and achieved Gold or Platinum status in fifteen countries. That album turned twenty-five in 2020\, and like the parent of any successful twenty-something\, I’m proud and more than a little amazed by the passage of time. The next two albums\, Tuesday’s Child (1999) and Everybody’s Got A Story (2001)\, both multi-platinum\, were no slouches\, either. Music has taken me around the world. I wound up meeting\, recording and performing with many of the folks whose work lived on those shelves in my parents’ living room during my formative years. It was humbling and exciting; I picked their brains and tried to learn as much as I could during each collaboration. \n“Making music” and “being in the music business” are two very different endeavours. The latter is a chronic distraction from the former. For the better part of the next decade\, I spent time doing what a lot of musicians find themselves doing — trying to get on with actually making music while dealing with the business of making music. But all that worked out just fine\, and most importantly\, it brought me to this: Heavy Lifting. \nHeavy Lifting is my first full-length studio album release in twenty-two years and was the winner of this year’s JUNO for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year. These songs explore a variety of themes. The first single\,  “I Hope She Cheats” (Marsha Ambrosius/Canei Finch) is a blistering\, funny\, cutting\, brilliant take on heartbreak. “God Forbid” is a smart-ass song about consumerism\, religion\, and the excuses that humanity makes for its’ mistakes.  “I’m Not Drunk ” is a ladies’-night-at-the-honky-tonk closing time anthem. “Rainbows In Gasoline” is about domestic violence and what it means to ‘know better’. “Dawgcatcher”\, “Built This House”\, and “Halfway Love” are straight-up riff-driven blues-pop\, a nod to the musical mentors who welcomed a teenaged belter to their party and gave her the mic. \n“It takes years to learn how to play like yourself”. I’m getting there. \nhttps://www.amandamarshall.com/ \n  \nSerena Ryder \nSerena Ryder tours her compelling latest album\, The Art of Falling Apart\, which invites listeners to join her mental wellness journey through a driving pop sound and the full range of her powerful voice. \nOn The Art of Falling Apart\, her eighth studio album and seventh JUNO Award\, she helps us understand the importance of sitting with the uncomfortable moments and the wisdom in their messages. Over a driving pop sound bursting with irresistible rhythms\, pulsing bass lines\, and the full range of her powerful and expressive voice\, she pulls listeners through her own winding\, transformational journey\, detailing despair\, toxic relationships\, and breakdowns alongside hope\, joy\, and big\, big love. \nhttps://www.serenaryder.com/

SUMMARY:Bachman-Turner Overdrive
DESCRIPTION:Randy Bachman is quite simply the rock and roll heartbeat of Canada.  He has had a glorious life masterminding breakouts of two of the most iconic Canadian bands of all-time: Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO)\, and the Guess Who. Now Randy–promising you ain’t seen nothing yet—says\, “Bachman-Turner Overdrive / BTO is back!” \nWith over 40 million records sold worldwide\, 120 gold records\, #1 US Billboard Pop Single and Multiple Top 40 US Billboard hits\, it isn’t surprising that BTO are still getting 3 million Spotify streams monthly. \nBTO’s origins began in 1970 when Randy\, after co-writing such major Guess Who hits as “These Eyes\,” “No Time\,””Undun\,” “Laughin’” and “American Woman.” left the Winnipeg-based group. Backed by its high-powered stage performances\, Bachman-Turner Overdrive was a nuclear reactor of fuzz-toned aggression churning out such pounding signature tunes as “Takin’ Care Of Business\,” “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet.” “Gimme Your Money Please\,” “Roll On Down The Highway\,” and “Let It Ride” that begged for a cranked-up car radio\, and a steering wheel to hit for hours on end. \nIn his home country\, Randy has received the Order of Canada\, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award\, 11 JUNO awards\, the SOCAN Lifetime Achievement Award\, and is a double-inductee in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. \nIn 2011 the American Society of Composers\, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) presented Randy with its Global Impact Award\, and he was inducted into the U.S. Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville in 2014. \nAlso joining Randy in BTO will be Randy’s son\, Tal Bachman\, along with touring musicians Marc LaFrance\, Brent Knudsen\, and Mick Dalla-Vee. \nThis show marks the 50th anniversary of BTO’s first performance at Pacific Coliseum! It is fitting that such a historic milestone coincides with the revival of one of Canada’s most influential bands. After many decades\, selling tens of millions of records with multi-platinum and number 1 awards\, Bachman-Turner Overdrive is back in full gear!

SUMMARY:Blondie - CANCELLED
DESCRIPTION:A message from the band:\n\n“We are saddened to announce the cancellation of several upcoming Blondie concert dates during August and September. This was a hard decision to make\, and we understand how disappointing this news is for everyone. We will keep you further informed as soon as possible. Your support means the world to us\, and we are grateful for your understanding.”\n\n\n  \nBlondie has been a musical trailblazer for over four decades and remains an enduring global icon\, continuing to inform the worlds of music\, fashion\, and art. From their early days as an irreverent Lower East Side punk band to their later status as international ambassadors of New York cool\, Debbie Harry’s persona and the band’s boundary-pushing pop have shaped the look and sound of many chart-topping female artists who followed in the last five decades. \nComprised of founding members\, singer-songwriter Debbie Harry\, guitarist and co-writer Chris Stein\, and powerhouse drummer Clem Burke along with band members bassist Glen Matlock\, guitarist Tommy Kessler and keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen\, Blondie’s chart-topping success\, fearless spirit and rare longevity have resulted in a wide array of accolades.  Those achievements have included an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2006\, a NME Godlike Genius Award in 2014\, a Q Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music in 2016\, the 2017 Silver Clef Outstanding Achievement Award\, and more than 45 million albums sold worldwide to date. In 2022\, the Blondie Archival Box Set “Against The Odds” was nominated for a Best Historical Album Grammy Award. \nThe band’s creative prowess is still going strong – they are currently working on their twelfth studio album and are in preparations for a new documentary film and a scripted feature in 2024. Over the past year\, Blondie made memorable appearances at the Coachella Festival and Glastonbury Festival main stage. Blondie’s ever-expanding legacy and enduring influence are a testament to their unique place in the history of music and popular culture. \nhttps://www.blondie.net/

SUMMARY:John Fogerty
DESCRIPTION:John Fogerty is a true American treasure. As the leader of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR)\, Fogerty forged a distinctive\, groundbreaking sound all his own\, equal parts blues\, country\, pop\, rockabilly\, R&B\, swamp boogie\, and Southern fried rock ‘n’ roll\, all united by his uniquely evocative lyrical perspective. Fogerty is a Grammy winner and has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is the only musician to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame for his song\, “Centerfield\,” a staple at baseball stadiums across the country. Among Fogerty’s many hit songs\, which have sold over 100 million records\, both as a solo artist and as leader of CCR\, highlights include “Proud Mary\,” “Susie Q\,” “Fortunate Son\,” “Born on the Bayou\,” “Bad Moon Rising\,” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain\,” among many others. \nIn 2019\, Fogerty celebrated 50 years in music with a worldwide tour with his show\, “My 50 Year Trip.” An album\, 50 Year Trip: Live at Red Rocks\, featuring a collection of Creedence Clearwater Revival hits\, including songs from the set list of his performance at the legendary Woodstock music festival in 1969 among other fan favourites\, was released on November 8\, 2019. \nIn April 2020\, while self-quarantining together the Fogerty Family – featuring John with his sons Shane\, Tyler\, and daughter Kelsy – gathered in their home studio to play some music together. A weekly video series began and became so popular that a digital EP\, Fogerty’s Factory\, was released via BMG on Fogerty’s birthday\, May 28\, 2020. An extended Fogerty’s Factory full album was released on November 20\, 2020. In December of that year\, Creedence Clearwater Revival’s Chronicle Vol. 1 hit the milestone of charting for more than 500 weeks on the Billboard 200\, becoming only the eighth album to ever do so. In early January 2021\, Fogerty released his first new original solo music in eight years\, “Weeping in The Promised Land.” The song is Fogerty’s definitive look back at 2020\, ultimately serving as a moving tribute to those who had been affected by the pandemic\, as well as those who have suffered through prejudice and injustice\, with an eye on brighter days ahead. \nFogerty recently partnered with Concord on the official release of Creedence Clearwater Revival At The Royal Albert Hall on the label’s Craft Recordings. More than 50 years after the legendary 1970 show\, the original multitrack tapes were meticulously restored and mixed by GRAMMY®-winning producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell. The accompanying documentary takes viewers from CCR’s earliest years together in El Cerrito\, CA through their meteoric rise to fame\, and is the only concert footage of the original CCR lineup to be released in its entirety. \nIn 2023\, Fogerty\, the composer of iconic songs that have inspired generations – “Proud Mary\,” “Down on the Corner\,” “Fortunate Son\,” “Bad Moon Rising\,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain\,” among many others – acquired a majority interest of the worldwide publishing rights to his historic song catalog from Concord. The compositions have been both a decades-long dream and a personal mission for John. For years\, the copyrights to Fogerty’s classic songs were the property of Saul Zaentz\, the owner of Fantasy Records\, who sold the label and its publishing portfolio to the former Concord Music Group in 1995. Fogerty\, who extricated himself from Fantasy in 1974\, re-signed with the label upon its purchase by Concord. Even so\, he was not able to gain ownership of his songs – until now. \n“As of this January\, I own my own songs again. This is something I thought would never be a possibility. After 50 years\, I am finally reunited with my songs. I also have a say in where and how my songs are used. Up until this year\, that is something I have never been able to do. I am looking forward to touring and celebrating this year! I want to thank Concord for helping to make all of this happen. And\, I am excited for new ideas and a renewed interest in my music … like a revival\,” said John Fogerty. \nhttps://johnfogerty.com/

SUMMARY:Blue Rodeo
DESCRIPTION:In the 40 years since forming\, Blue Rodeo have sold over 4 million albums\, received dozens of JUNO Award nominations and wins\, played over 2\,000 shows\, been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame\, received a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame\, been named to the Order of Canada and have been honoured with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award. \nThe definition of a rebel is someone who goes against the grain. For close to forty years now\, Blue Rodeo has taken the road less travelled – and succeeded far beyond anyone’s expectations. The band emerged in the early 80’s as a countrified rock band in the era of hair metal and glossy pop. Despite sticking out like a sore thumb (or maybe because of it)\, their single “Try” became omni-present on radio across Canada and set in motion a four decade long career of headlining every club\, theatre and arena in Canada. In 1993\, when grunge rock was squeezing commercial rock off the radio\, they recorded their most acoustic album\, Five Days In July\, and scored their biggest hit selling over a half million copies of that one record alone. \nNow\, with their 16th Warner Music Canada studio album – Many A Mile – Blue Rodeo’s successes are measured in terms that include induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame (2012)\, receiving a Governor General’s Performing Arts Award (2014) and acknowledgement that the band has steadfastly defined itself by its own terms\, and in the years that ensued\, sold in excess of four million records. \nReflecting back on four decades of successes and those early Blue Rodeo days\, both Jim and Greg are able to fully appreciate where the band sits in the pantheon of music. “Success seemed really real when we were entertaining people at The Horseshoe. That was the top of the heap for us\,” Cuddy says. “When you look back\, you realize that it has just been this beautiful dream.”

DESCRIPTION:The career of the multitalented CHRIS “LUDACRIS” BRIDGES can best be described as remarkable. As a recording artist\, he has sold more than 24 million albums worldwide\, thanks to the blockbuster success of such singles as “Stand Up\,” “Get Back\,” “Southern Hospitality\,” “Number One Spot\,” “Money Maker” and “My Chick Bad.” All of these records were accompanied by ingenious videos that demonstrated Bridges’ far-reaching imagination\, and his willingness to stretch the boundaries of what rap videos should look and feel like. \nWith an unrivaled match of lyrical acumen\, wit\, and imagery\, Ludacris has solidified himself as one of music’s premier entertainers. His versatility and artistic complexity also enabled him to make a seamless transition to acting\, including the fan favorite role of “Tej” in Universal Pictures’ box office phenomenon Fast & Furious franchise where he was introduced for the first time in 2003 in 2 Fast 2 Furious.  He will reprise his role of “Tej” for the seventh time in Fast X\, which is set to release May 20\, 2023. \nHis other notable feature film credits include Garry Marshall’s ensemble comedy New Year’s Eve\, Ivan Reitman’s romantic comedy\, No Strings Attached\, Paul Higgin’s Crash which received an Academy Award for Best Picture in 2006 and Hustle & Flow which earned Bridges a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. \nAs a father of four girls\, his latest ventures fittingly include launching his educational platform devoted to the enrichment of children called “KidNation”.  In addition\, Bridges created the animated series KARMA’S WORLD which launched in the Top 10 in 42 countries on Netflix\, received two NAACP Award nominations and is already on its fourth season.  The series for children ages 6-9 is a coming-of-age story about a young Black girl finding her voice and using it to change her world — originally inspired by Chris’s oldest daughter Karma and based on the interactive educational website of the same name created by Karma’s World Entertainment in 2009. \nA consummate businessman\, Ludacris is enjoying success outside of entertainment. One of his most successful ventures includes opening his long-anticipated restaurant “Chicken-n-Beer” at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport with a new location opening at LAX in 2023. \nBridge’s philanthropic efforts rival his entertainment accomplishments. He started The Ludacris Foundation in 2001 which focuses on helping the youth in his hometown of Atlanta and has partnered with No Kid Hungry and Feeding America. \nhttps://www.facebook.com/ludacris

SUMMARY:Barenaked Ladies
DESCRIPTION:After more than three decades as the lead singer and guitarist for Barenaked Ladies\, Ed Robertson has a routine when it comes time to start writing songs for a new album. “I tend to get ideas while I’m driving up to my lake house\,” he says. “I record voice memos along the way\, and then I listen back and try to make sense of them and mix and match the various ideas I’ve come up with. On a typical drive\, I’m happy if I get six or seven—eight ideas would be a good drive. \n“For this album\,” he continues\, “on my first writing trip I had 21 different song ideas. I thought\, \n‘Wow\, this is really cool.’ Then I sat down to write\, and I thought if I could finish one of them—get the verses\, get the bridge\, get the chorus in one day—then I’ll know this whole writing period is going to be good. And I finished eight songs. I sat down at 10 in the morning\, and I looked up at 9:30 and I hadn’t eaten\, I hadn’t moved from the writing table. It was exciting. I’ve never felt that before.” \nThe results mark a new chapter for a band that’s sold more than 15 million albums\, earned Grammy nominations and won multiple Juno Awards\, and in 2018\, were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. In Flight\, BNL’s eighteenth studio album\, retains the dry wit and keen observation we expect from Robertson\, bassist Jim Creeggan\, keyboardist/guitarist Kevin Hearn and drummer Tyler Stewart\, but adds a strong sense of maturing and lessons learned. “I think as I age\, I get less self-conscious\,” says Robertson. “I had a goal to write simpler songs on this record\, to not out-clever myself and be a little more direct\, more emotionally present and honest. And when I listened to what I wrote\, I heard what I’ve been talking about for the last couple of years—ruminations on gratitude\, getting older\, cancel culture. It was everything I’ve been thinking about\, distilled into songs.” \nWhile BNL’s last album\, 2021’s Detour de Force\, looked closely at the perils of contemporary\, alternate reality media\, In Flight offers a sense of joy and appreciation\, exemplified in the first single\, “Lovin’ Life\,” in which they unironically sing “We’re lovin’ life/We love it so much that we wanna live it twice/We’re lovin’ life/We take it high\, we take it low/We ride that rollercoaster anywhere it goes.” (Robertson wrote the song with Better Than Ezra’s Kevin Griffin and Steve Aiello of Thirty Second to Mars; elsewhere on the album\, he co-wrote “I Am Asking You” with Donovan Woods). \n“It’s very easy to get overwhelmed by the firehose of bad news that we’re all pretty tuned into\, \nand it is real\,” says Robertson. “But I think it’s really important to remember to still be grateful. \nhttps://www.barenakedladies.com/

SUMMARY:Gipsy Kings | 2025 Summer Night Concerts
DESCRIPTION:Nicolas Reyes has been the leader and co-founder of the Gipsy Kings for well over 30 years. In the past three decades\, they have dominated the World Music charts and sold more than 14 million albums worldwide. Their platinum compilation\, The Best of the Gipsy Kings\, was charting for over a year upon its release and their ninth studio album\, Savor Flamenco\, was awarded the Grammy for Best World Music Album in 2013. \nThis iconic legacy began when Nicolas’ father\, Jose Reyes\, formed a celebrated flamenco duo with Manitas de Plata (which boasted fans as famed as Miles Davis and Pablo Picasso). When the pair parted ways\, the elder Reyes became even more popular upon starting his own band\, backed by his son\, called Los Reyes. In later years\, Nicolas headed out on his own and began playing in the town of Arles in the south of France. He traveled throughout the country\, busking on the streets of Saint-Tropez\, playing wherever he could. \nHaving adopted the perpetual motion of the gypsy lifestyle\, his band eventually translated “Los Reyes” and became the Gipsy Kings. \nThe band’s music went on to fuse with popular culture. In addition to the accolades above\, the traveling Gipsy Kings have played some of the world’s greatest stages\, from the Hollywood Bowl to Royal Albert Hall as well as hitting the big screen. Their rendition of “Hotel California” was included in the film The Big Lebowski and the HBO series Entourage. The 2010 film Toy Story 3 featured a Gipsy Kings version of the movie’s popular\, Randy Newman-penned theme\, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”. The Gipsy Kings recently featured in a Big Lebowski spinoff The Jesus Rolls with Reyes appearing in person with the director and star\, John Turturro\, for some of the promotion. \nAs active as this remarkable collective remains\, they are also confident in the future of their legacy. “Even though it’s been 30 years\, we want to keep on making new music because it’s our life. It’s who we are\,” says Nicolas Reyes. “But I think there will be a time when we pass down the Gipsy Kings to our sons”. \n30 years is an eternity in pop music but the story of the Gipsy Kings featuring Nicolas Reyes has the depth to endure. Theirs is a music that extends through generations\, to the sounds of their ancestors—Spanish Romani people who fled the Catalonia region during the Spanish Civil War—and reflects the vibrantly eclectic and peripatetic history of the gitanos. \nhttps://www.gipsykings.com/ \nhttps://www.nicolasreyes.com/

SUMMARY:Mother Mother | 2025 Summer Night Concerts
DESCRIPTION:Globally successful alt-rock phenomenon Mother Mother celebrate their 20th anniversary with the release of their 10th studio album\, Nostalgia. This 12-track song-cycle reveals a sonic palette that calls back to their earlier works\, while simultaneously pushing further into the stellar regions of melodic rock and glam-pop; they fearlessly charge forth into often lyrically and emotionally uncomfortable terrain. \nComprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals\, guitar)\, Molly Guldemond (vocals\, keys)\, Jasmin Parkin (vocals\, keys)\, Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass)\, Mother Mother have achieved something few acts get the chance to: freedom in creativity\, resulting in a record that feels both true to their legacy and gesturing towards the decades that lay ahead. \nFor reasons unknown\, their 2008 fan-favorite single “Hayloft” (from O My Heart) was resurrected by fans just as the pandemic lockdown hit and burst into a supernova of social posts\, which spawned a purely organic TikTok revolution and led the track to become certified Platinum in the US. Demand from fans sparked a reprised continuation of the song’s harrowing narrative\, resulting in the Gold-certified “Hayloft II\,” which debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Global Top Songs Debut chart and has surpassed 1.2 billion global streams and 830 million YouTube views. Their 2021 album Inside garnered in excess of 1.5 billion global streams alone. Following a successful European stadium tour with Imagine Dragons and a string of festival shows\, Mother Mother documented the tour with a live EP Live from Santiago de Compostela (2022) and followed with their 9th album Grief Chapter (2024). \nSince then\, the quintet has relentlessly toured the world\, playing festivals and headlining prestigious venues including London’s Brixton Academy and Red Rocks in Denver. Their ambitious career has produced 10 studio albums\, four live albums\, 35 singles and videos and a pair of EPs. To date\, the band has amassed 8.6 billion global streams across their bursting catalog and garnered 5.2 million followers across social platforms. \nwww.mothermothersite.com/

SUMMARY:Sean Paul | 2025 Summer Night Concerts
DESCRIPTION:With countless hits and over 120 countries toured\, Sean Paul is arguably Jamaica’s top export\, the biggest global star the “little island with the big sound” has yet produced. Born Sean Paul Henriques in Kingston in 1973\, the dancehall deejay (as a mic controller is known in JA) has dominated global charts since he burst onto the scene in the late ‘90s. Three decades on\, he shows no signs of stopping. \nSean’s introduction to the international stage was the 1997 boom tune “Infiltrate\,” an instant smash wherever reggae music was played. By the time he released his debut LP (Stage One\, 2000) dancehall hits like “Deport Them”; “No Bligh” and “Hot Gal Today” (w/ singer Mr. Vegas) had already made him the highest-selling artist on VP records\, the NY-based distributor which provided Jamaican producers their primary conduit to a global market. When Sean and Vegas landed a cameo in Hype Williams’ 1998 film Belly (and a musical collaboration with rap star DMX on the soundtrack) the rising star’s undeniable appeal to the hip-hop market was likewise demonstrated. \nIn 2001\, Sean scored another international hit with “Gimme the Light” and in 2002 “Get Busy”–on the Bollywood-inflected Diwali riddim–became his first #1\, early signs that his sophomore album Dutty Rock would break the mold for dancehall. Dutty Rock ultimately spawned four Top 15 Billboard hits–including “Like Glue” and “I’m Still In Love With You” f. Sasha–and won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album. In the very same period\, his voice powered hits for Beyoncé (“Baby Boy”); Blu Cantrell (“Breathe”) and Busta Rhymes (“Make It Clap”)–proving that his midas touch with a hook could not be constrained by one genre. \nSean’s 2005 album Trinity broke new records\, debuting at #5 and quickly achieving Platinum status\, powered by the monster hit “Temperature.” Sean’s third #1 on the Billboard Hot 100\, “Temperature” took the international star global\, reaching the Top 10 in Canada & France and the Top 20 in Australia & UK. Subsequent releases (from 2009’s Imperial Blaze to 2022’s Scorcha) kept him consistently near the top of the charts in every imaginable market\, from pop (“No Lie” with Dua Lipa; “Cheap Thrills” w/ Sia; “Rockabye” w/ Clean Bandit ) to EDM (“Come To Me” w/ Major Lazer\, “Mad Love” w/ Dave Guetta & Becky G) to Latin (“Contra La Pared” w/ J Balvin). Platinum crossovers–“Niña Bonita” earned Paul and collaborator Feid “Best Collaboration” at the 2024 Latin AMAs\, the same year “No Lie” was certified Diamond in Brazil–are equally matched with core dancehall hits like “Bring It” (on Dave Kelly’s classic Showtime riddim)\, “Go Down Deh” (a collaboration with Spice & Shaggy). A role as Gwen Stefani’s Coach Advisor on Season 22 of The Voice (2022) made him a TV star as well. \nBy the 2020s\, Sean Paul’s status as the world’s foremost representative of Brand Jamaica had been officially recognized by the Jamaican Government with an Order of Distinction (2019) but with decades of awards\, chart-topping hits and a worldwide fanbase\, his legacy as a musical icon is recognized universally. \nhttps://allseanpaul.com/
