SUMMARY:Rainbow Kitten Surprise | 2025 Summer Night Concerts
DESCRIPTION:As if channeling another dimension where genres simply don’t exist\, Rainbow Kitten Surprise finds harmony in unpredictability–weaving together lyrical poetry\, hummable melodies\, and a rush of instrumental eccentricities. Now boasting over2 billion global streams across platforms\, the band first began building their devoted fanbase with independent albums SEVEN + MARY (2013) and RKS (2015). In May 2024\, Rainbow Kitten Surprise released their first album in six years\, LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX. Produced by Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) along with Konrad Snyder (Noah Kahan) and lead singer Ela Melo\, the record is the band’s most vulnerable project yet\, and has been met with critical praise from Billboard\, Consequence\, Paste\, and more. LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX follows the band’s breakout full-length debut for Elektra\, HOW TO: FRIEND\, LOVE\, FREEFALL\, which arrived in April 2018. Produced by GRAMMY® Award-winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant\, Lainey Wilson)\, the album featured RIAA-certified Platinum single “It’s Called: Freefall\,” earned widespread praise from Billboard\, TIME\, Vice\,           and NPR\, and saw the band make several national television appearances\, including performances on “CBS Saturday Morning\,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert\,” and PBS’s “Austin City Limits.” After gracing the bills of Bonnaroo\, Lollapalooza\, and Osheaga\, to name a few\, RKS moved 80\,000 tickets of their own on the sold-out 2018/2019 Friend\, Love\, Freefall Tour. \nFollowing a sold-out run of underplay shows in May\, Rainbow Kitten Surprise returned to the road this fall for the LOVE HATE MUSIC BOX Tour\, which notably marked their largest tour to date. The 35-show run included multiple arena headline dates\, a stop at Radio City Music Hall in New York\, and two nights at the iconic Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. \nRainbow Kitten Surprise is: Ela Melo (she/her; lead vocals)\, Darrick “Bozzy” Keller (he/him; guitar\, vocals)\, Ethan Goodpaster (he/him; lead guitar\, vocals)\, Jess Haney (he/him; drums). \nhttps://www.rksband.com/ \n

SUMMARY:Ice Cube: Truth to Power – Four Decades of Attitude
DESCRIPTION:Platinum Tickets: Wed April 16 10am\nVIP Packages: Wed April 16 10am\nAmex FOTL Presale: Wed April 16 10am – Thu April 17 10pm\nArtist Presale: Wed April 16 10am – Thu April 17 10pm\nLive Nation Presale: Wed April 16 10am – Thu April 17 10pm\nPNE Presale: Thu April 17 10am-10pm\nSpotify Presale: Thu April 17 10am-10pm \nIce Cube is one of the most crucial artists in rap history. A razor-sharp lyricist\, an alternately furious and humorous MC\, and an accomplished producer\, Cube laid the foundation for the legacy of pioneering gangsta rap group N.W.A by writing “Boyz-N-the-Hood” for partner Eazy-E and making his first big splash as an MC with the subsequent “Dope Man.” After N.W.A‘s Straight Outta Compton (1988) infiltrated suburban America and attracted the scrutiny of the FBI with “Fuck tha Police\,” Ice Cube launched a solo career that has entailed five platinum albums and one platinum EP\, including AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted (1990)\, Death Certificate (1991)\, and The Predator (1992). A month before Cube released the first LP in that series\, he appeared on Public Enemy‘s critical “Burn Hollywood Burn” and within a year aided in the disruption of the track’s target with a co-starring role in John Singleton’s Boyz N the Hood. While Cube added to his filmography with projects such as the Friday franchise\, his directorial debut The Players Club\, and Barbershop\, he devoted less time to music. He continued to record occasionally as a solo artist and as a member of Westside Connection\, and extended a streak of RIAA-certified releases that lasted through Laugh Now\, Cry Later (2006). The next decade\, Cube and Dr. Dre co-produced the acclaimed Straight Outta Compton (2015)\, a biographical film about N.W.A.\, whose resurgence culminated with an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Cube soon returned with his first solo album in eight years\, Everythangs Corrupt (2018) and formed the supergroup Mount Westmore. The typically vehement Man Down (2024) was his first solo album of the 2020s.
