Know Before You Go


Below is some extra helpful information to ensure you have the best possible experience at the PNE Fair.

Ride Passes and Rapid Pass upgrades may sell out, so get yours in advance.
Limited quantities of individual ride tickets (coupons) will be sold on site. Please proceed to the Ride Ticket Booths upon entry.
Your Tickets

Your ticket is valid only for the date and time indicated on it. Before arriving at the PNE Fair please ensure you have either printed your ticket or downloaded the “print at home” PDF to your mobile phone. There is no free WIFI available on site. Please present the original ticket file, and not a screen shot of it. To help with ticket scanning, please turn the brightness on your phone to maximum, and enlarge the bar code section.
 

Venue Information

Enter the PNE Fair with your Gate Pass from one of the four main entrances (see map).

Green Gate: On Miller Drive across from the Hastings Racecourse entrance
Yellow Gate: at the Pacific Coliseum off Renfrew Street
Red Gate: At the corner of Hastings & Renfrew Streets
Purple Gate: Playland’s main gate at Hastings & Windermere Streets

Getting to the PNE Fair


by transit and bicycle:

We encourage you to use alternate transportation. Entrances to the PNE Fair are located a short walking distance from several bus stops. The Bike Valet will not be available this year, however bike racks are available outside the Green Gate off Miller Drive and the Purple Gate (Playland entrance) on Hastings St.

by vehicle:

Parking is located at the corner of Hastings and Windermere Streets. There are also lots accessible from Gate 6 off North Renfrew Street, and Gate 9 off Bridgeway Street.

Parking is $25.

on foot:

As a courtesy to local residents, please enter and exit the site quietly and refrain from leaving litter in the streets.
Ride Operation Status

From time to time, rides need maintenance and might not be operating.
Cashless transactions

The PNE uses cashless procedures on site for retail and food and beverage. We accept credit/debit and recommend that you use your tap enabled cards, or Apple Pay/Google Pay on your mobile device.

Guests without cashless purchase options may visit the Guest Services booth and load a PNE gift card using cash. Gift card purchases are non-refundable, do not expire, and remaining balances can be used during future PNE events. Minimum gift card load of $20.00.

Bag Policy

Guests are encouraged to use small bags or clear bags and only bring necessary items. All bags are subject to search at the venue’s discretion.

Outside food

Outside food and beverage, coolers and BBQ’s are not permitted. We ask that you do not bring large bags, large back packs and coolers to the Fair. Water bottles are permitted on site and there are fountains and water stations for refills.

Exceptions will be made for medical or infant needs. Please contact 604.253.2311 or info@pne.ca in advance of your visit to make any necessary arrangements. 

Wheelchairs and Lockers

Wheelchair and locker rentals are available at the Playland Guest Services booth for your convenience and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for the following rates: 

Wheelchairs: $10 per day  ($100 refundable deposit & signed rental contract required) 
Lockers: $10 per day 


Inclement weather

To ensure the safety of our guests during inclement weather such as high winds, rain or lightning in the park vicinity, individual rides or the entire park may be closed. Affected rides may be re-opened if deemed safe. The PNE does not issue rain cheques or refunds for ride or park closures.
 

PNE Code of Conduct

The PNE is a harassment free site and will not accept any inappropriate behaviour from guests towards staff or other guests. Before you arrive to the venue, please familiarize yourself with the PNE's code of conduct. Guests who violate the code of conduct are subject to removal from the venue.

If you experience or witness any unacceptable behaviour, please find the nearest PNE employee, police officer, or visit First Aid. You can text or call PNE Guest Services during the event at 604-505-5840.
 

Health Guidelines

Mask Requirements

The PNE encourages our staff and guests to be comfortable should they want to wear face masks, but we will not enforce guests, public, staff or clients to wear masks onsite.

Sick or Self-Isolating? Please stay home.

Contact TicketLeader at 604-252-3700 before your visit date and stay home and take care of yourself.

Respect personal space

This means giving enough space between you and others so everyone feels comfortable.
