Playland opens May 18

One day passes and season passes are on sale now!

Have a blast at Vancouver’s favourite amusement park this summer! With exhilarating rides, midway games, unique attractions such as the Haunted Mansion and Sweet Escape Mini Golf, delicious food options, and exciting special events, Playland is sure to be the highlight of your summer. Also, ride our new launch coaster, ThunderVolt, for an electrifying experience like no other! ThunderVolt will open in July (stay tuned for date).

Dates and Hours

Playland is open select days in May and June from 11am to 5pm and select Saturday evenings in June.

Playland is open Wednesday to Sunday in July and August from 11am-5pm and select Fridays and Saturdays from 11am – 10pm.

Admission Information

Come to Playland for the day or grab a Playland Season Pass for the cost of less than three admissions. Save $5 when you purchase your pass online!

Playland 2024 Season Passes are available for our special Early Bird pricing, $20 in savings! Offer ends May 20.

*Passes are NOT valid for PNE Fair, Fright Nights, Winter Fair or other special events

Thrill One Day Pass: $45 - $55

For those wanting all the thrills including (guests must be 48 inches or taller): Atmosfear, The Beast, Breakdance, Cedar Rapids Log Flume, Enterprise, The Pirate Ship, Hellevator, Hell’s Gate, Skybender, The Wooden Roller Coaster and all the Fun Pass rides as well.

Introducing Playland's new launch coaster...ThunderVolt

Built by Zamperla, the ThunderVolt experience carries 12 passengers at a time through a supernatural environment with extraordinary animals, graphics and lighting that pulses as the ride system charges, leading up to its launch. The three-car train blasts off with 1.3 Gs of acceleration through an illuminated tunnel, up a steep incline before an 18-meter drop.

Opens July 2024. Stay tuned for exact date.

Guest Services

The PNE wants your visit to Playland to be as enjoyable as possible.

All guests visiting Playland will need to purchase their tickets in advance online through TicketLeader.ca. Capacities are limited. Select your date and time slot from the calendar. TicketLeader accepts credit and verified debit cards. To connect with a TicketLeader call centre team member to pre-purchase your tickets over the phone, please call 604-252-3700.
Your ticket is valid only for the date and time indicated on it. Before arriving at Playland please ensure you have either printed your ticket or downloaded the “print at home” PDF to your mobile phone. There is no free WIFI available at Playland. Please present the original ticket file, and not a screen shot of it. To help with ticket scanning, please turn the brightness on your phone to maximum, and enlarge the bar code section.
Playland uses cashless procedures on site for retail and food and beverage. We accept credit/debit and recommend that you use your tap enabled cards, or Apple Pay/Google Pay on your mobile device.
