Official Contest Rules - Playland Unlocked 2.0: Side Quests

This contest is open to residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of 13 at the time of entry. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s permission to enter. 

Employees of the PNE, contest sponsors, and immediate family members (or persons residing in the same household) are not eligible to win prizes. 

Guests can participate casually or complete multiple side quests to increase their chances to win. 

To enter the contest, participants must: 

1. Visit Playland during opening weekend (May 16–17, 2026).
2. Find the Playland Characters located throughout the park. 
3. Complete the side quest by answering a quick riddle or PNE/Playland themed quiz, each character will then present you with the Playland Unlocked QR code. 
4. Scan the unlocked QR code and complete the short sign‑in form to register your entry. 
5. Repeat with additional characters to earn more entries and increase your chances to win. 

Social Bonus (Optional): 

Enjoy select Playland Unlocked food specials all weekend and earn x3 bonus entries per one purchase.

Guests who share their Playland Unlocked experience on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok Stories and tag @pne_playland may be randomly selected to receive Playland plushies. 

No purchase necessary. 
A contest entry option will be available outside the main Playland entrance, allowing participation without park admission. 

The contest begins at 11:00 AM PST on May 16, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM PST on May 17, 2026.

Bonus Prizes:

Official Playland plushies will be awarded randomly to participants in Playland whose content is shared or celebrated on PNE Playland social channels. 

*Please note: Each winner will receive one prize only. Prizes are randomly selected.

• Main prize winners will be selected by random draw on May 20, 2026, from all valid entries. Bonus prize winners will be selected onsite at Playland on May 16 or May 17

• Winners will be contacted via the email submitted on the sign-in form. 

• Winners must respond through email within 48 hours or another winner will be selected. 

• Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value. 

By entering, participants consent to the PNE collecting and participants consent to have their photo taken for promotional purposes. Any personal information collected (name, handle, email) will only be used to administer the contest and contact winners, in accordance with PNE’s Privacy Policy.
