Caamp’s Copper Changes Color is the band’s “most adventurous album to date,” a reflection on “growth and evolution” and “a celebration of the dreams and bonds that endure.” Recorded in Texas, Oregon, and New York with co‑production from Beatriz Artola and Tucker Martine, the album sees the Midwestern group “pushing their sound to new heights,” infusing their modern folk style with “an electrifying dose of indie rock energy.”

Founded by childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall in Athens, OH, Caamp first broke out with their 2016 self‑titled debut, which generated “hundreds of millions of streams” and earned their first gold single. Their follow‑up, By and By, topped the Billboard Heatseekers chart and led to festival appearances from Outside Lands to Newport Folk, along with performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and CBS Saturday Morning.

Their 2025 U.S. headline tour reaffirmed Caamp as “one of the most captivating live bands in modern music,” selling over 200,000 tickets and selling out venues including Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, The Anthem, The Greek Theatre, and Radio City Music Hall.

With more than 2.5 billion streams worldwide, five #1 AAA radio singles, and the chart‑topping success of Copper Changes Color, Caamp continues to build a “rich, rousing record built on love and trust in the face of doubt and uncertainty.”
