Cinnamon Sugar and Chai Latte Donuts with Chocolate Ganache

These seasonal donuts will certainly make a good impression at any autumn gathering!

1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp all spice
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 cup white chocolate melts
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
4 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream


1. whisk together all dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. add in all wet ingredients and use a spatula to stir until combined.
3. grease a donut tray or muffin tray and pour the batter into each section.
4. put tray into oven already preheated to 350 and bake for 10 minutes.
5. heat heavy whipping cream in a sauce pan and pour over chocolate chips into a heat safe bowl and let sit.
6. mix ganache until smooth and combined.
7. while waiting for donuts, melt white chocolate using a double boiler.
8. take donuts out of the oven and let sit for 1-2 minutes.
9. dunk donuts in butter then into cinnamon sugar mixture.
10. for chai latte donuts simply add the spices for half the batter and proceed with the same steps.
11. dunk chai latte donuts into white chocolate and top with chopped walnuts.
12. serve donuts with chocolate ganache and enjoy!!
