Our world-class Marketplace at the PNE Forum will feature indie yarn dyers, local yarn shops, fibre farmers, knitwear designers, notions makers and more. Download the floor plan here!

The Marketplace will be open to the public Saturday September 24th and Sunday September 25th.

All tickets will be by timed entry, to reduce crowding in the Marketplace. Ticket time slots will be 10am-1pm, and 2pm-5pm each day.

Marketplace admission will be $15 per time slot per person. Children 12 and under are free to attend with an adult and do not require a ticket. You can purchase as many time slot tickets as you like, but please be aware the marketplace will be closed from 1pm-2pm each day. Please plan to purchase your tickets in advance, online.

Other Marketplace highlights include our NEW Winding Station, Prize Basket Draws for each time slot (get your free ticket at the Info Booth!), and food trucks near the entrance on Saturday & Sunday: Varinicey Pakoras, Mom’s Grilled Cheese, Chickpea, and Henry’s Hip Eats.

THE SWEETGEORGIA KNITTERS LOUNGE in the MARKETPLACE

Relax, socialize and learn a new skill in The SweetGeorgia Knitter’s Lounge! After shopping, head to the Knitters Lounge and catch one of these FREE demos!

Saturday

11 am: Weaving Meet Up and Rigid Heddle loom demo with Felicia Lo

3 pm: Blending board, hand carders, and drum carder demo with Charlotte Lee and Greta Cornejo

Sunday

11 am: Spinning Meet Up and Demo with School of SweetGeorgia spinning instructors Kim McKenna, Diana Twiss, Rachel Smith, Katrina Stewart and Felicia Lo

3 pm: Knitting and Crochet Meet Up

WORKSHOPS

Workshops in advanced fibre arts will be offered this year by some of the industry’s top instructors. Workshops will be held either in the PNE Hastings Room or at the Atrium Inn at Hastings and Renfrew St.

Workshops will run from Friday September 23 to Sunday September 25.

EVENING EVENTS

Friday September 23rd 8pm-10pm: So You Knit A Pandemic? lecture with Stephanie Pearl McPhee at the PNE Hastings Room.

Saturday September 24th 8pm-10pm: Knit Night! with The Grocery Girls and Uropa Queen!at the PNE Hastings Room.
