Fright Nights Casting Call - 2023

The Pacific National Exhibition is searching for talented individuals to join our 2023 Fright Nights Performance Team to help add thrills and excitement for our Fright Nights guests!

This audition is open to all types of contracted acts, from Dance, Musicians, Ground Circus Acts, Side Show Acts, Fire, Singers, Magicians, Aerialists, Improv & more! We want to see performers who are passionate about their craft, who carry their own unique world within them and are intent on engaging our guests night after night.

The Fright Nights Performers will work under the direction of the Fair & Festival Operations Management in one of two opportunities: our Fright Nights Stage Show, the sitewide roving troupe, or character icons.

Access and inclusion are incredibly important to us. For those artists who have barriers to access to any part of our process as laid out, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we will happily work with you to allow you to show us your artistry in whatever format is easiest and accessible to you.

All successful performers will be sent an audition invitation and asked to prepare up to 5 minutes of material that best showcases their talents (ex, monologue(s), song, dance, Traditional songs, dances, or storytelling are all welcomed).

Interested artists should submit materials to production@pne.ca  by April 1^st, 2023, title your subject line AUDITION – YOUR NAME.  Only selected artists will be invited to the live audition between Friday, April 14^th – Sunday, April 16^th, 2023.

Materials submitted must include headshots, CV, act description and photos.
