Butter Tuna by Kiran Sandu

Enjoy this hearty tuna dish, packed with luscious garlic, butter, and spices like curry powder and turmeric. Accompanied by a fresh corn salad, this is a recipe you can enjoy all summer long.

Butter Tuna
2 tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
5 cloves
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper

Corn Salad 
2 cups corn
1/2 cup red onion
1 cup cucumber
1 cup tomatoes
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic

Instructions for Butter Tuna

  • Chop up garlic for butter sauce
  • Add butter and garlic into pan
  • Add curry powder and turmeric
  • Slowly add heavy cream
  • Sauté about 10 minutes
  • While sautéing sauce, add olive oil and butter in another pan
  • Add garlic
  • Once garlic is soft, add fish and cook until browned

Instructions For Corn Salad

  • Chop up corn, garlic, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers in small pieces
  • Add into large mixing bowl
  • Add salt, pepper and lemon
  • Mix well
