Unlike any ride in the world, Italian manufacturer Zamperla assembled a unique single-rider experience with a thrilling combination of acceleration and gravity. Guests will experience dynamic action sequences, flying above the park and Gryphon garden featuring a 6-foot tall statue honouring the ride’s inspiration.

During construction of this new ride, the Playland crew made an exciting discovery: a bed of fractured crystals buried beneath the rides. A team of archeologists later reassembled the pieces and realized that they formed a great wing-ed lion.

The fabled Gryphon – known for inspiring bravery in the people it watches over – emboldens people to spread your wings and soar to new heights. And just like that, the legend was born.
