Herb Crusted Tuna Steaks with Sticky Rice and Sriracha Aoli

3 Red Tuna Steaks (frozen)
1 1/2 cups Green Herbs (1/2 Parsley and then your choice of Basil, Thyme, Cilantro, Chives, Tarragon)
1 tsp sesame oil (or any type of mild cooking oil)
salt and Pepper To taste
1/4 cup Kewpie Mayo
1 tsp -1tbsp Sriracha Sauce
2 Green onions (optional)


  1. 20 minutes before cooking pull steaks out of freezer
  2. Put Rice on to Steam
  3. Chop herbs together
  4. Lightly coat tuna steak with oil
  5. Coat with herbs
  6. Sear tunas steaks on med high lighltly for one to two minutes on each side
  7. Put on cutting board to rest for 5 minutes
  8. Mix schiracha and mayo together
  9. Dice green onions
  10. Slice tuna thinly (1 cm slices)
  11. Place rice on plate with Tuna and side dishes
  12. Either drizzle mayo on top or place on side of plate
  13. Sprinkle with green onions
