Scone Biscuits

Ingredients

3 CUPS AP FLOUR
3/4 CUP SUGAR
4 tsp BAKING POWDER
1/2 tsp SALT
3/4CUP BUTTER
2 TBSP LEMON JUICE
1 tsp VANILLA
3/4 CUP MILK
1/4 CUP SUGAR FOR DUSTING

Instructions

1. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
2. Cut in butter to dry mix until butter is the size of lentils
3. Combine lemon juice, vanilla, milk and egg – whisk
4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients, add the milk mixture and combine until it forms a cohesive mixture
5. Roll out to 1″and cut out
6. Brush with milk and sprinkle sugar on top.
7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
