Sweet heat corn on the cob with seared seasoned strip sirloin steaks

Ingredients for the Corn
4 Corn on the cob
2 tbsp Butter
2 Jalapeños
1 tsp White sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
Ingredients for the Steak
1 bunch Fresh rosemary
1 tbsp Butter
1 clove Garlic
4 Strip sirloin steaks
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1 tbsp Oil of choice
Instructions for the Corn
1. Shuck your corn on the cob
2. Slice the jalapeños into equal yet thin slices
3. Bring a large pot of water to boil
4. Add your sugar, 1 tbsp butter and 75% of your jalapeños into the pot
5. Once water is boiling, add your corn on the cob and cook for eight minutes
6. Once your corn has completed, cooking, remove from pot and place on a plate
7. Slather your corn on the cob with the butter, ensuring to cover the entire cob
8. Garnish with the remainder of your jalapeños and serve
Instructions for the Steak
1. Let your steaks rest until they’ve reached room temperature seasoning them generously with salt and pepper
2. Heat up your frying pan on medium-high heat with a generous amount of your preferred oil
3. Gently place your steaks into the hot oil, searing both sides to get a crispy exterior
4. After you’ve reached the result youre happy with add your butter to the pan along with your garlic clove and a spring of fresh rosemary
5. Turn down the temperature to medium heat and baste the steak with the butter oil mixture using a spoon
6. Once you have achieved your preferred level of doneness on your steak remove from the pan and let rest for a few minutes
7. Serve your steak in your preferred way and enjoy
