The Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a non profit and statutory organization (Pacific National Exhibition Incorporation Act, S.B.C. c. 66) owned by the City of Vancouver. The PNE operates Hastings Park on behalf of the City of Vancouver and is governed by a City Council appointed Board of Directors.
The PNE Board of Directors’ purpose is to ensure the continued success of the PNE, while working in harmony with the local and city-wide community, business, management and staff.
Currently there are 9 members comprised of the following: 1 City of Vancouver Councillor to serve as Chair, the General Manager of the Vancouver Park Board, to serve as Vice-Chair, three City employees and four non-City (independent) Directors.
The PNE Board of Directors meets with the PNE Executive Management Team on a regular basis throughout the year to discuss the operations and policies of the PNE.
